PTA Board and Volunteer Interest

3/14/2024 2:33 am

March is coming to a close and so is Q3 of the school year. Our PTA will have some big roles to fill for the next year's board.

We are reaching out to our parents directly because these positions are necessary for our PTA to fulfill its role supporting our teachers and school throughout the year. Mills Park Elementary is fortunate to have so many resources available to our students, but they can only be implemented with a PTA board in place.

Several of our clubs and events cannot be held without PTA leadership, including: Boosterthon, Odyssey of the Mind, Reflections, Cultural Arts, field day and our spring carnival, to name a few.

If you're interested in joining the PTA Board of Directors, please fill out this form : https://forms.gle/vZ6P6vL2QEd77ufH7

If you're interested in volunteering for one of our PTA sub-committees, please fill out this form

These PTA positions oversee the events, clubs and organizations, but are not responsible for running them. Each committee should be directed by its own volunteers and managed by the board.

Please consider stepping up if you're at all interested! We will schedule a sip and chat meeting in the near future for parents interested in knowing more about the roles.

Think Bigg and its award-winning performing artist Trent Arterberry, blended mime, storytelling and puppetry into a hilarious show of kid-friendly stories and characters. The show featured lots of audience participation, students learned about non-verbal communication and specific mime techniques both onstage and in their seats.
