It's just around the corner... Get ready to show your MPE staff and teachers some love! Here's what we have planned and here's how you can help.
Staff + Teacher Appreciation Week Feb. 26th-Mar. 1st
Monday - Thanks a Waffle Lot - PTA-sponsored breakfast for the staff
Tuesday - We Appreciate You a Whole Bunch! Please Enjoy Some Delicious Lunch! - The PTA will provide lunch for our incredible staff.
Wednesday - A Little Something Salty and a Little Something Sweet Because Having Teachers & Staff Like You Is a Really Big Treat- we are collecting snacks from our families to stock the Staff Lounge. See the grade-specific signups below.
Thursday - Emergency Kits + Teacher Gifts - help create emergency kits for your classroom (see grade-specific signup below) or send in your teacher gifts and/or handmade cards. Don't forget about all the wonderful staff that play a role in your child's school life (Specials, AIG, IAs, Student Support, CCR, front desk, etc.) - send them a note to show your appreciation.
Friday - You are Soup-er (Potluck Lunch) - bring in a dish or buy some sides and drinks (see signup below). If you're no chef but want to spend time with your child at school, volunteer to watch the classroom for an hour to give our teachers some extra lunch time. Don't forget to get your Wake county background check done if you're in the classroom - it only takes a few days to process!
Signups:
Sweet and salty snacks AND emergency kits - PreK/K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th (You can drop off items in the lobby the week of Feb. 12th and 19th.)
Friday's potluck AND volunteer signup (Food drop-off is on Mar. 1st from 8:45AM-9:45AM.)
