We need a Nourishing Noggins chair

Are you interested in helping families at Mills Park Elementary School with food security?  Then this this position may be for you. The school counselors are looking for 1 to 2 parents to chair Nourishing Noggins, a 501(c) 3 charitable organization that provided weekly food to select families during the school year and two additional times for larger donations for winter and summer breaks. You would be in charge of the keeping the website updated, receiving and distrusting the organization's funds, organizing weekly food collection/distributions and communicating with the school counselors to determine yearly needs. (The biggest commitment is making sure the school has between 20-30 bags of wood weekly for distribution. These are provided by individuals or groups that sign up ahead of time.) You can commit for a year, or longer depending on your interest.
