PTA General Membership Meeting

Whether you are a PTA member or you just want to know more, come to our General Membership Meeting in the Media Center on Thursday, September 15th!

 

5:30-5:45 p.m: Check in early and chat with board members.

5:45-6:20 p.m: Learn about our programs and what's coming back this year. Members will vote to ratify the budget.

 

Light refreshments will be served.

 

WHAT IS THE PTA?

We are MPE parent and staff/teacher volunteers who work towards building a strong school community for our students, families and staff. Our main focus over the years has been academic support to enhance our children's learning experience.

 

We do this by:

  • supporting school programs (spelling bee, science fair, Battle of the Books, etc.).

  • running programs such as Odyssey of the Mind, Reflections, etc.

  • providing grants to teachers purchasing technology (online school subscriptions, equipment for classrooms, etc.)

  • planning events (Movie Night, Staff Appreciation, etc.)

  • promoting health awareness (Maniacs Marathon, Health & Wellness Week, etc.)

  • fundraising (Boosterthon, Book Fair, Carnival) and much more!

If you...

believe that MPE PTA is an incredible addition to our school and helps to enrich the lives of our students, families and staff...

want to connect with others who value children and education...

would like to get more involved, have a voice, and vote on the future direction of the PTA...

would like to volunteer your time and talent as a room parent, chair or lead a committee, or even join the board of directors...
