Help the PTA

General Membership Meeting at 6pm on Thursday, May 29th. Elections will be held at this meeting, but we still have slots to fill!
 
We have a nominee for both President and Vice President.  Lindsay Milton and Lori Patel are both excited to continue the important work of the PTA.
 
BUT we need two more people to even have a PTA...
 
Treasurer:  Working with the board to implement the budget, maintaining financial documents, writing checks, and updating the board monthly.  About 4 hours/month.
Secretary:   Keeps minutes of all meetings, responsible for memberships, and ensures documents are kept according to our retention policy.  About 1-3 hours/month.
 
...and four more (at a minimum!) to maintain the level of events, programs, and support that we all love about this community. 
 
Ways and Means:  Nothing happens without raising the funds!  We need someone to help secure sponsors and plan our other fundraising such as spirit wear. 
Communications:  Sends out the weekly Panther Press and engages on social media. 
Hospitality:  Overseeing the planning and execution of great events like staff Back to School Breakfast, Movie Night, Cookie Exchange, and Teacher Appreciation.
Events:  Brings even more fun with spirit nights, Book Fair, and Carnival. 
 
Please consider one of these positions.  Keep in mind, these roles do not mean that everything is on your shoulders.  Events are run by committees, and we all work as a team.
