Can you help out for 30 minutes at the carnival?

As some of you may remember, the carnival is only possible with the help of our wonderful parent volunteers. We have divided all the tasks into 30 minutes slots - distribute prepaid admission packets, stand at an inflatable, sell Fun Tickets, help out at the raffle baskets, etc. Click on the link and sign up for one or more spots. Show up to check in at the volunteer table 5 minutes before your shift.

Chapter 5: Raffle baskets, silent auction and MPE experiences

Parents, this chapter is for you.  Carnival is not just fun and games and food.  We have several things in which you might be interested.  The raffle baskets are back and better than ever with values up to $1,000!  There are 11 amazing packages and they are not all for the kids.  Check them out on the website along with our silent auction which features several "date nights". We have received $17,000 in donated items including camps, lessons, sporting events, birthday packages, fitness memberships and more - bidding goes live on Friday! You can also see everything in person at carnival.  Sometime pictures can't do justice to some of these items.

- Code and play with your fave robots and Mrs. Pyon (45 min of coding with robots or your fave STEM activity with a friend and Mrs. Pyon)

- Outdoor sidewalk chalk festival with Ms. Young 

- Zoom bedtime story with Mrs. Huffman (receive a mug and a pack of hot cocoa)

- Kindergarten directed drawing and doughnuts

- Breakfast with 2nd grade teachers

- Classroom Popsicle Party

- Classroom PJ Party

Chapter 4: All the Extras

How could you fit any more fun into a carnival?  Well, challenge accepted.  Let me tell you about some more of the extras we have available. 

First, published cartoonist Dave McDonald will be teaching us how to draw cartoons!  His latest book, Hamster S.A.M. Odd Ventures in Space is available on our website for $6. He'll also have copies on hand for $7. 

Another add-on is our spirit wear bundle.  Want to have next year's spirit wear before everyone else?  We have a very limited number of tie dye shirts, back by popular demand but with a new design as well as MPE fidget spinners.

And check out our VIP parking for carnival!  I haven't been, but I hear parking can get a little crazy at carnival.  With our limited VIP parking spaces, you can show up any time and have a guaranteed spot right outside the front door.  We'll have your pre-ordered admission and tickets ready to go when you pull up. 

Finally, Treasure Quest will be bringing us the ever popular gem mining.  This will be an additional fee handled at the truck.  Overwhelmed?  Keep in mind there are ways to get free fun tickets.  Bring gently worn spirit wear back for a ticket trade-in.  Students can keep an eye our for a scavenger hunt after spring break that will also earn a free ticket.  Until next week....
